Machine Inspections

MachineLife engineers provide professional quality machinery inspection services.  We track issues over extended periods of time to help manage the repair method and timing.

MachineLife inspection services include:

  • Structural inspections
  • Mechanical inspections
  • Weld joint inspection (VT, UT, MT) with AWS weld standards
  • Gear inspections with AGMA gearing inspection standards
  • Temperature and airflow test and inspections
  • Room pressurization test and inspections
  • Roller circle and slew bearing component test and inspections

Some repairs may be urgent, where others can be delayed several years.  Understanding the structural/mechanical and economic risk of the timing of those repairs is critical.

Additionally, some repairs can only bring the failed are back to its original design strength where others can be improved to achieve a much better service life.  Knowing the difference is key for providing customers value.
